| Tiffany Calendar, Wall, Pomegranate
Louis Comfort Tiffany (American, 1848 - 1933), an accomplished painter who became the unrivaled master of stained glass, transformed an ignored medieval medium into the epitome of Art Nouveau. In his designs Tiffany incorporated landscapes, exquisite floral patterns, and insects, all in a spectrum of distinctly rich hues. Shown here are three lamps, eight windows, and a door panel, from The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art, home to one of the world's most comprehensive Tiffany collections. This 2006 Wall calendar was published by Pomegranate.
