| Paint A'Licious Calendar, Wall, Andrews McMeel
Joanne Gair is the world's leading image-maker and body painter, perhaps best known as the artist who painted a man's suit onto Demi Moore for the famous cover of Vanity Fair. Her "Disappearing Model," a tromp l'oel in which it is nearly impossible to discern the face and body of the model from the red and yellow flowers of the wallpaper background, is also well known.
She's created twelve equally provocative scenes for this unique calendar, which she conceived within the context of a fantastic imaginary spa where clients are literally transformed, not through facials and seaweed wraps, but by body paint and artistry. The amazingly detailed scenes captured by technically flawless photographs include a camouflaged art thief, an impeccably dressed (or painted) bridegroom, and a womanwhose shape is transfigured from full to hourglass. Each one astonishes with its precision. This 2006 Wall calendar was published by Andrews McMeel.
