| William Morris Arts and Crafts Design Calendar, Wall, Pomegranate
A principal founder of the Arts and Crafts movement in Britain - which valued hand craftsmanship over manufactured goods - William Morris (1834 - 1896), among other creative accomplishments, also designed typefaces, fabrics, and wallpaper. The gorgeous floral and foliate wallpaper designs in this calendar were selected from a sample book of William Morris and Company and owned by the Brooklyn Museum. Morris' superb designs are still sold today under licenses granted to several London firms. This 2006 Wall calendar was published by Pomegranate.
