| Indian Arts & Crafts Calendar, Wall, Smith-Southwestern
Thousands of years ago at some forgotten time and place, the first art of the American Indian was created. This may have been a painting on a cave wall, a charcoal drawing on an animal hide or a simple figurine fashioned from twigs. While we will never know exactly what the first art form was, we do know that the unsurpassed talents of the Native Americans are rooted in centuries of colorful and ritualistic tradition.
This beautifully photographed calendar features twelve months of Native American art from Southwestern tribes including examples of pottery, jewelry, Kachinas, baskets, sand paintings, weaving and more. This 2006 Wall calendar was published by Smith-Southwestern.
