Eight subspecies of tigers have been identified: the Bali, Bengal, Caspian, Indochinese, Javanese, Siberian, South China, and Sumatran. Unfortunately, due to excessive hunting of certain subspecies, the Bengal tiger makes up about two-thirds of the world's remaining tiger population. The Javanese, Balinese and the Caspian have been extinct since the 1950s. Keep track of your schedule, and keep track of this extraordinary animal with the beautiful photos featured in this 2006 slimline Tigers calendar.
