| Motley Crue Calendar, Wall, Andrews McMeel
Mötley Crüe was one of the most commercially successful bands to emerge from the sea of heavy metal acts that dominated the record charts and MTV airwaves in the 1980s. The band formed in L.A. in 1981 with Vince Neil on vocals, Tommy Lee on drums/vocals, Nikki Sixx on bass/piano and Mick Mars on guitar/vocals. Since their first album, Too Fast For Love, the band has undergone several musical transmutations. In their eight-album history, Mötley Crüe has incorporated heavy metal, glam-pop, Top 40 and alternative grunge into their sound. This 2006 Wall calendar was published by Andrews McMeel.
